The CHU de Québec-Université Laval inaugurates its new research center

The CHU de Québec-Université Laval (CHU) officially inaugurated its new research center, a key component of the new hospital complex. Representing an investment of approximately $90 million, this component marks a major step forward in the project’s development and represents an additional lever to make the CHU a leader in precision medicine research.

The new research center building represents a strategic pillar for the future of healthcare, focusing its efforts on cutting-edge fields such as oncology, endocrinology, and nephrology. The research center will also pave the way for revolutionary new approaches and targeted therapies, offering unprecedented opportunities for more personalized and tailored treatments.

The Nouveau complexe hospitalier CHU de Québec-Université Laval project is No. 40 on ReNew Canada’s 2025 Top100 Projects report.

The research center is distinguished by a modern and collaborative approach, placing particular emphasis on innovation and synergy between researchers and physicians. Thanks to its close proximity to the Integrated Cancer Center building, clinical and research activities complement and enrich each other, creating an environment conducive to accelerated discoveries and patient access to new treatments.
