The new 265,000 square foot, $351-million Canadian Museum for Human Rights has taken shape on the Winnipeg horizon. Base building construction is substantially complete, exhibit fit-up is underway, and the official opening will take place in September 2014. The museum is created in partnership with the Government of Canada, the Province of Manitoba, the City of Winnipeg, the Forks North Portage Partnership, and the private staff.
